Adopt-A-Resident is visiting with one or two elderly on a regular basis, at least once every two weeks. It is flexible in that you have a choice of residents and that once a resident and you choose each other, you can schedule visits at your mutual convenienve. Like Cafe Israel it takes place at the Jewith Home and Hospital.

Adopt-A-Resident is a program started in the summer of 2006 with two training sessions and has progressed to volunteers visiting their residents. It remains to be shaped by the volunteers and residents in it.
